    Looking for best price on a 500GB USB3 external drive, B&M or online

    Drive should be 2.5 inches (no external power)

    Any Suggestions appreciated!

    Hi.
    I got some really good deals in Aldi for 500GB(USB2) drives in the last 2 years, and then more recently in last 12mts they did 500GB + 500GB (USB3), possibly also 750GB(USB3) which I missed.
    I have never seen a better deal on drives outside of eBay as in Aldi in these
    items.

    Even if you get a good deal(eg eBay) on a 2'5 laptop drive of high capacity, they can be easily re cased in the USB3 drive casings.

    Another place you might consider if you don't mind second hand, is in
    Liffey street lwr(Can't remember the name of the place), but it is between,
    Halpenny bridge and the Middle Abbey street Luas line.
    Have never bought anything in there but they do have PC parts, that were traded in, worth looking at.
