but i agree, matte black looks ****e, really really ****e.

its such a cop out, have a few euro and want to change the look of your car? matte black your bonnet! have a few euro more? do the roof too! have too much free time and not enough money or cop on? paint your whole car aerosol matte black.

its also a cop out in terms of got a second hand splitter/ spolier/ skirts etc, not paying a bodyshop to proplerly colour key them when a fiver tin of matte black will look way "better"

got a set of wheels that are getting a little rough around the edges? dont need straightening/ filler/ sandpaper or any professional repairs when a can of matte black can fix all that for a fiver.

i reckon the ratio is 100ml of matte black equates to roughly 10 mental bhp.

Matte black isnt too bad if done well, I know you are talking cheapo DIY jobs that look terrible but if done by professionals can look great.
