    Lads,

I am fairly sure this has been asked lots of times before but a quick check got me nowhere.

this morning I went for the brakes and got the fright of my life. Funny as I am used to commuting all year round, a bit of rain aint normally anything to concern me but for some reason they were shocking this morning ( maybe I just need to get the wet feel back it has been months  )

Anyway - anyone got any advice on good wet weather pads for 700c wheels ?

    Thanks

I've been running these (the black ones)

Very happy with them, still had stopping/slowing power even while riding through a river on the Tour de Kilkenny.

Swiss stop green pads. Expensive for brake pads, but worth it.

I got some ypk brake pads from Harry's bikes for €12 a few weeks ago.
I've found them super sharp, they worked fine this morning!
    I've 700c wheels too.

This. Koolstop salmon are also great in the wet.

Swiss Stop green for me. Was on Kool Stop Salmon, but Swiss stop are far superior. Also they wear down very slowly relative to the Kool Stop.

i had the swiss stop black, but have change dto the swiss stop green, cos the blacks wore out. The greens seem to brake better than the blacks, but I havent had em out in the wet yet. Either way, swiss stop pads are good.

    What about the KoolStop salmons?

I've plugged them before and I will plug them again.

I have yet to have a scary 'Oh Shiete, I am not stopping' moment on these in the wet or the dry and we have had more wet days then dry ones!!!
And believe me if they can stop me and help me maintain control in full flight going downhill then it's proof they work.
I put them onto Rob Fowls cross bike last year and they are still there and still working.
As soon as I get back from hols I will be ordering a set for winter.
