Good Morning all,

I've just recent moved into an apartment in the Dublin area, at the moment we are with Magnet broadband and have a very old and fragile black Telsey Modem router. Is it possible to do the following with it?

1. Login into admin pannel via a web browser http:// access to change the channel?
2. To buy an alternate modem router? The one like this...

3. If the above do not work do Magnet upgrade their customers modem routers for free?

Any help would be great, Im having difficulties with the wireless strength and im only 10ft away from the routerI have also disconnected other power sources to see if it is the problem, but this still makes no difference.

I have also been hearing and reading that Magnet lock down their routers so you cant alter any settings?

Any advice on what to do would be appreciated.
