Yeast bread

I'm trying to make yeast bread - haven't made it in years - with one of those Ikea Lindonbrod packs. But if I add the amount of water they state, the dough is really really gooey and I can't knead it at all. Is it just me, or is this the norm with that Ikea mix?

The Ikea mix is not made for kneading at all, just mix and pour in to a tin. I really didn't like the bread; it had that typical mass produced bland flavour, but that's just me!

Eh? But it's in the instructions! "Knead," it says.
