Which way are you trying to connect them?

Have you set your Juno to accept midi clock - set it to thru (it depends on what way you've arranged everything) That Juno is a workstation, so to accept midi clock from an external sequencer it has to be set external.

If you have everything connected properly, and still not getting anything, you may need to reduce the speed of the midi signal from the I pad. Watch the Juno screen - if it flashes the word panic, it means its chips are panicked, and it won't do anything.

You have to do that on the sequencer(whatever you're using as a DAW) on your i-pad. Lots of sequencers send a flood - the Roland can't cope with a flood.

If you can't adjust the speed, you have to change the way you've done your controller changes in the daw - pencil steps instead of diagonal lines.
