    Sorry folks I have another question for ye. This little fella has been hanging around my house for the last week. Never flies away when you approach and spends all day eating the many spiders around.
    He has a really crossed bill with a pronounced hook on the end of both the top and bottom.
    Just curious as to what he is cause my collins gem book on irish birds hasnt a clue :D

    It is a juvenile Robin with a deformed beak, which happens occasionally.

    Thanks for that. I knew out was a young one but the beak threw me. It'll be fine here anyway. No cats around and an unbelievable amount of spiders on the ground all year.
