    Hi all, hope im in the appropriate forum. I am hoping someone can identify these two unrelated pictures for me

    this was taken in a slig cliff outside

    and this one really puzzles me. The black marks magically appear overnight on my kitchen counter and floor. they are tarry and difficult to remove sometimes the only thing i can remove them with is petrol. are they some kind of spider poo?? Keys only there to show scale.

    The first looks a bit like the work of potter wasps but as far as I know they use mud only

    Vampire bats has black sticky droppings ...:)
