I wouldn't touch that Kurio, a few quid extra would get you a 16GB Nexus 7. No comparison.

My biggest concern is the suitability for kids, also the fact that it is for kids, I don't want to spend a fortune as it may well be broken in a week.

"The elves don't know how to make tablets."

Seriously, he's far too young. Why does he have to get it just because he's asking for it? When I was 6 i was happy with my vtech "laptop." it's madness what kids get for Christmas these days!

Negative Creep, thank you for reply, he wants an Iphone and ipod, trust me he doesn't get all he wants, these days he gets very little.

However Santa is bringing a tablet, I am just looking for advice on a 'child tablet' or 'android tablet' as I have very little knowledge on all things IT.

I need to start to looking for it now, I cannot afford to pay out for all together in December, I try to buy from now to Christmas, it works for me.

IMO, the Nabi seems to be worth waiting for. Tegra 3, ICS, bumper protective case and lots of preinstalled games and books for kids, priced under 200 dollar... sounds pretty good to me.

Thanks, I think your right, a 'kids tablet' is probably best for them.

I picked up a Sumvision Astro 7 for 90 gbp. Does the job as you can put play store games and drag and drop films and music.
