    Hey,

Does anyone know the best/easiest way to get from Bilbao to Biarritz? I know there's a direct bus with pesa.net but it only has a timetable for August, there only seems to be two buses daily and there is no sign of any prices.
    Any advice appreciated.

    Cheers

Hey, I did it a couple of different ways
    1. quick train to San sabastien, cheap weird local tram/train over the border to hendaye. I think there is a bus service to st.jean de luz and there you get the Bayonne/ Biarritz area bus right into the centre of Biarritz. This is cheap and easy and you get to see a couple of nice places. San sabastien is class as is st.jean de luz.
    2. Get to Barcelona by bus and there are loads of cross border main bus companies. You will need to book well in advance. These are very busy and a bit pricey.

There are probably big bus companies from San sabastien but I'm not entirely sure.

This way is easy. And the (narrow gauge) train ride is interesting enough. IIRC, we got a bus directly from Biarritz to the train, via Bayonne. Might be possible to do it in reverse.

How long did this take? We will be arriving in Bilbao at around 11 in the morning and ideally we would like to get to Biarritz as soon as possible that day.

    Cheers

Assuming you get perfect timing with the buses and trains you could conceivably be in Biarritz city centre by 4/5
