so...i got a raleigh chopper

    like the title says.just after getting an old skooler :D
    16 inch wheels.kind of mustardy yellow.no chain gaurd or front mudgaurd.seats a bit damaged.and it cycles suprisingly well!
    So i dont remember these around my parts,but remember them from films.
    What can ye retro-ers tell me about it?years made,value then and today etc??any help or info appreciated!thanks

    Hi, Raleigh Choppers are highly collectable, price depends on condition, but a model in top condition could fetch several hundred euros.

    Is it deffo a Raleigh chopper..??...there were copies even back then..I had a MK 1 and 2.....1 Had adjustable h/bars and a car style gear knob...mk2 had fixed bars and t-bar gearchange and a carrier.....some frame differences too.........
    Theres an Irish Chopper club too....

    it does have one 16".......:pac:

    Rear should be a 20".......if its not its not a chopper......does it have alloy wheels....:eek:

    HAD a 16 & 14.its gone now to someone that fell in love with it.was there many in ireland?

    Maybe it was a Raleigh Tomahawk which was a smaller version of the Chopper back in my day.

    The Chopper that I remember had bigger wheels.

    Yeah youre right...the chipper had same size wheels front and back....
