    im just wondering is a car insurable/insured without a valid tex disc in ireland? :)

    Yes. If your car runs out of tax and it's stolen, you're still insured. Although you should not drive without the car being taxed, even though its insured.

    You need to present your isurance to get your tax renewed but not vice versa; think about that and you'll understand why the others have answered positively.
