    Hi All ,

Just wondering if anyone has been to Lima Peru in late August ( their winter ) and how cold is cold at this time of year there ? I know its misty , drizzle at times etc but from an IRISH standpoint , is it as cold as our winter ?

I know its 17 degrees there now , but my partner ( from Lima ) tells me 17 degrees here is totally different to there ;-)

What i wanted to know , is how do us Irish find it weather wise in Lima ?

    Many Thanks

I was there in August and we mainly wore T-Shirts but brought along a hoodie everyday as it got cooler in the evening, we had practically no drizzle and it was certainly not cold, it got dark very early and then it was freezing !!!

I remember it being quite chilly when I was there in August 07. I wore a fleece jumper every day. It was generally overcast but not drizzly every day. I think 17 degrees is worse there as for it to be 17 degrees in Ireland it'd have to be sunny, but not so there.
