I'm planning on visit Thailand for a week, then to Sydney for a 2 weeks, then back to Thailand a few days before the 30 day tourist permit expires (on to other parts of SE Asia then). I've read on the Thai government website that you need a re-entry permit for doing something like this if you're on a business visa. Anyone…

I've read on the Thai government website that you need a re-entry permit for doing something like this if you're on a business visa. Anyone know if it's needed with a tourist permit?

You'll get a 30 day tourist visa on arrival, then you'll get another 30 day tourist visa on arrival when you come from Oz.

30 day by plane.
14 or 15 (cant remember which) at land crossings.
