So, its another beautiful day outside which, let's be honest is a rarity these past few years.

I'm at home with my two year old daughter, just about to put her up for her mid morning nap, then, well then, trying to think of something nice to do.

    I've a few possibilities,

1, Dublin zoo, I've a yearly pass, is a fifteen min drive away, but am thinking half of Ireland might have that idea too.
2, we could head off on my bike for a ride through the Kildare countryside.
3, the beach, any body any recommendations (practical distance from Naas)
4, take a kite to the curragh (wondering of its windy enough today)

    Anyone any other suggestions?

Where's everyone else headed off today in the funshine?

I would love to suggest something but since I've been working nowhere near any windows all week and today I'm just going to continue with my regression into sunlight-starved Gollum-state

    *HIIIISSSSSS!!!!!*

Little girls love picnics OP, so make sure you pack one for her, wherever you head, You'll look all manly holding a tiny cup and her smile's will be pricless.

Japaneese gardens and stud is a good one though as some already said. She'll have loads of horsies to see.

    Have a great day .

    So......

Starting now on the picnic, sangers for me, and chopped apple, and a few other treats for her!

Kite, and bike shall get loaded.

Stop at Curragh on way to Japanese gardens, if not windy enough, head on.

Visit Japanese gardens and stud, and have our picnic.

Second visit to Curragh, try kite again.

    Could be a good day!

(Admiral, wouldnt mind meetin up with an ice cold 6-pack on the beach though.....)

btw, if I had the day to myself (I'm in work) I'd head to grafton st. have a bit of a wander and then grab a grande iced peppermint mocha from one of the starbucks and spend an hour or two in stephens green just watching the world go by. Probably bring a book along with me.

Or of you have the option, grab a boat on a canal or river (Ovbiously in a rural setting). Like ratty said, there's nothing as glorious as just messing around in boats.
