    I've never understood why the East African distance runners avoid having their performances questioned.

    Corrupt countries.
    Cheap unregulated medications and imports.
    Massive financial rewards.
    Outrageous, utterly dominant performances.
    Wild fluctuations in "form"
    Essentially no out-of-competition testing on the entire continent.
    Huge improvement in times since the early 90s.

    When it's Russia, or Jamaica or China we have major suspicions (and rightly so), but not if you're Kenyan.

    Without naming names, I personally have serious doubts.

    all the heresay evidence on the internet suggests they have problems

    there haven't been many kenyan positives and even less so ethiopians(2 i think)-that's part of the reason anyhow

    and the fact that they're naturally superior to europeans in the distance events has prob muddied the waters -so to speak
