Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi everyone,

I'm doing the leaving cert in 2013 and plan on going to university in the UK. What I was wondering is if I get my offer and get the grades to start a course in Sept. 2013 can I defer it until Sept. 2014. I need to work for a year to make up some funds to live off when I get over.

    Thanks for the help.

You can defer once you've accepted an offer, if the university allows you to. It varies by college/course and it's their decision ultimately. If you know for sure before applying that you definitely want to defer for a year you can apply for 'deferred entry' which is essentially an application for a place in 2014.
