    Hello
have a starting problem with my car which has cost me a lot of time and money up to now so just hoping some folks here could lend a hand.
my car seems to start in the morning first thing with no problem.
However, engine when is warm or hot, it struggles to turn over but eventually fires with a big shudder.
Today after trying to start while warm i got no click no crank after numerous attempts. It then Started with a push start. I drove it home shut it off and restarted it almost immediately and it started!(although with a struggle).
I've had this problem before and i replaced the battery(only two weeks ago!) About a month before this i had the starter replaced by a mechanic.
I'm fed up with this now and would hope that some people here may be offer some advice? I've also bought a code reader and there are four glow plug faults(i cleared these but they return) but there is no problem with cold starting.
    Any ideas?
    thanks very much

Tried to start it th this morning (from cold) and i heard a click from the solenoid but it didn't crank at all. Is it more than likely the starter motor again?

Jump start it from another car. If it starts with a booster, its not the engine, it's the battery. If it still doesnt start, suspect the starter/starter solenoid/starter relay/immobiliser/immobiliser ecu/glow plug relay. The fact it can be push started eliminates an engine fault pretty much. Is the alternator light on? Is the alternator putting out 14Vish? Is the battery you fitted a dud?Is the starter you fitted a dud? Is there a loose earth strap/starter feed wire? Eliminate the cheap/simple first before you jump to any conclusions. My money is on 1.the battery 2.a loose connection 3.the starter solenoid.:)
    Or the ignition switch itself.
