    Hi there.

I have applied to AIT and DIT for Master in Accounting.

Now I got a call from Head of Business school (AIT) for an interview over phone or skype which I dont really like. (I like face to face interaction)

But just to prepare myself well, can anyone gimme ideas what kind of questions should I expect?

    Any ideas/experiences/suggestion will be appreciated.

P.S this might not be right place to ask but I asked here cuz AIT forum is not very active and I have more chances of getting a good feedback.

Just take it like any other interview - stay calm and relaxed.

From experience its usually a short enough interview and just ensure that you know whats going on in practice i.e. economic crisis, your opinion on accounting regulations, possible changes to them, etc. Just really research a few key areas like that and you should be fine.

I prepared for milkround very well. and everything was on tips at that time.

But from sometime I am of the hook. can u refresh me on some topics. I mean just name them. I will look them up myself.

Its been a while since I done a similar interview, but from what I can remember I was asked on the future of accounting - your views such as what regulations could be introduced to make it work better to prevent fraud, cope with economic crisis' etc.

They'll probable will also want to know how interested you are in following business and current affairs so if it was me I would have a bit of knowledge on Sean Quinn and his dealing with Anglo Irish and maybe how it could be prevented in the future. Maybe tie in a few bits of financial & mgt improvements.

TBH don't freak out or worry too much about the interview, if you have a good overall grade thats what I say they mainly decide on. When is your interview?
