Xperia U issue - Can't sign in to Google Play

Hey, I just bought a Sony Xperia U today. When I try to sign into Google Play Store, I'm told that my username and passwords do not match. I'm using my normal Google sign-in details. Any ideas on what the problem might be? Thanks in advance. edited- nvm, got it sorted
