Am I reading this correctly or does it not say €25 per month? Phone costs €170 for the €20 a month plan is what I'm reading. Brilliant phone though, can you switch from prepay with Three to that plan without hassle I wonder?

Thanks Op! On 3pay topping up by €20 a month at the moment, kinda tempted to sign up for this, sell the phone, then put the money in the bank for when the iphone 5 comes out. Decisions!

How do you mean lack of tethering? I'm sure the phone supports it and certainly the plan does....

The phone does yes but the t&c doesnt, or at least my interpretation of it

    5. The Service is available for use with your SIM Card in your handset only. Tethering or use of your handset as, or the SIM in conjunction with, a modem is not allowed, except in the case of Three customers who have subscribed to a Three handset and Tablet bundle offering. In the event that we identify that you have breached this condition, Three reserves the right to suspend, modify or restrict your use of the Service or to withdraw your access to the Service at its absolute discretion.

Huh... when 3 launched all you can eat data, that was a big selling point. Tethering was allowed. It was one of the things that forced Vodafone to get rid of their stupid charge for tethering.

Very odd move if they have changed it.

Here's a thread about it from the Three forum

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=79162803

If it wasn't for that I'd get this deal in a heartbeat but I don't want to be stuck on an 18 month contract and not be able to occasional tether.

That's just stupid. Any thought of me moving to three is gone.

    Try This

Tethering to my hearts content since I took a new contract 3 months ago.:D

I think the carrier file on the iPhone disables the hotspot though
