    Hi All,

Heading to Chicago next week and want to use the 'name your own price' bidding function on Priceline. The page where you enter CC contains a dropdown allowing you only to enter US or Canada as your country, then State & ZIp etc.

Under that, it asks for a phone number - stating customers outside the US should enter country code. I know Irish folks use the site, so does anyone know how to circumvent the billing address anomaly?

www.priceline.co.uk should work for anyone outside America. It accesses the same database. As it is in $US, credit card conversion rate will apply. Good luck with the bidding!

I normally use the first line of address, town and Armed Forces Europe option

Didn't see that option in the Country dropdown.

I could've chanced it with a hybrid Irish / US address combo but plumped for Hotwire instead.

Used it for the first time in May - getting the Conrad Hilton Chicago for €107 per night incl tax.

Selection of Hotels wasn't as great this time - went for a 3* Magnificent Mile Area - River North and had a browse on www.betterbidding.com to ID the place.

As exxpected, got the http://www.innofchicago.com/ x 3 nights for €274.

    Thanks for the help folks.
