Looking at a role in east pt, I can start anytime from 8-9 and finish from 4:30. What is the current traffic like rom Navan rd in the morning and back in the evening ?

I imagine it isn't so bad at the moment, but once schools are back, it will be another matter.

As Victor said: about 20 mins at the moment, double that from September. The earlier you travel the better. Depending on where you are on the Navan Road, consider the train to Docklands (from Navan Rd parkway, Ashtown or Broombridge) - ten min walk from Docklands to East Point.

The only major hold up is in Phibsboro and maybe Anselley bridge or at the junction of dorset street and the north circular at the Big tree pub which can be avoided if you see that its busy there.. At worst it could take bout 45 mins either way. If times suit and depending your location then an option could be a train from Ashtown and the dart out from connolly to clontarf road. There is a shuttle bus from Clontarf Dart station to the East Point business park if thats where you are going.

There's a shuttle bus from East Point to Docklands Station as well.

It's only about a 20-35min of a cycle, even at a slow enough pace.

No sitting in traffic jams, less stopping and starting only to go a few meters, far fewer running costs (no fuel costs etc), and you get exercise and also feel better starting the day off.

It's the most reliably way to do the trip.
