Registration Fee and BTEA..

I did a FETAC course before the summer.
I was on BTEA for the duration of it.
I'm going to WIT in September, I know the procedure in terms of forms for BTEA and that it's automatically accepted.
I just want to know if the registration fee is covered, by BTEA, or something else. Would be handy to save that lump of cash seeing as the Cost of Education allowance has dropped by 200 quid.

I'm just sick of going back and forth between studentfinances website and dept of social site and finding nothing but one page telling me to go to the other site and vice versa.

A clear answer would be most appreciated.

No. The BTEA does not cover the student contribution fee. You need to apply for a grant to cover it. The application is at www.studentfinance.ie

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Ah sound man, thanks. I never thought of clicking the Student Grants section. Confused thinking it would conflict with BTEA.

    Thanks for replying!

    EDIT:

Might I note, the grantsonline website is so unbelievably slow and broken it is ridiculous.
