I had a flat for the first time last week on the rear. Replaced the inner tube and away I went.

Was going out for a spin last night and I noticed a few bulges in the tyre but didnt think much off it. As I progressed through the spin I noticed the bulges were catching in the breaks. What is the best way to get rid of the bulge?

Also my rear gears seemed to slip alot. If I was grinding through a gear it would slip. When I took off the rear wheel I must have done something. How would I go about sorting that?

Tube could be twisted, take it out and check it or you need a new tyre.

Tyre has less than 200km. Would I need a new tyre already?

The bulge is either the tube not installed evenly but most likely the bead of the tyre is not seated correctly in the rim. Let the air out and re-inflate ensuring that the tyre is on the rim correctly both sides in all areas.
