Night to Morning

Just finished watching Scorsese's "After Hours" for the second time and realised I find something appealing and almost nostalgic in that the film transitions between a night and its following morning.

I can only off the top of my head think of two films that fall into this category

    -After Hours
    -Groove

Can anyone help me out with a few others?

I'm guessing you mean over the course of a whole film?

The Myth of the American Sleepover takes place over one night, and continues on for a bit after the sun rises.

Eternal Sunshine's central plot technically takes place over a day or two, with most stuff happening over the course of a night and the following morning.

The Warriors is another one. Before Sunrise is cheating a bit since it starts bright, gets dark, and then gets bright again, but hey.

Actually quite a common storytelling device!

Dazed and Confused does it quite well. That last day/night of High School is quite nostalgic, especially if you've ever been to school out there.

    Does Collateral count?
That takes place over a single night, and technically ends with daybreak?
