    Hi,

I'm joining pwc in 2013 after completion of a masters, sent my exemption form and transcripts in about a month ago, still haven't heard anything back but I know friends who are joining kpmg who've got their exemption confirmation letter back nearly 2 weeks ago!

Just wondering if anyone else is in the same position or does anyone know when we'll get the exemption confirmation letter?

    Any help would be great!!

    hey ...

KPMG is always up to the mark when it comes to correspondance :)
and I am saying this based on my own experience.

I dont think its anything on part of PWC. May be CAI was busy with exams and results and there are too many applications in Que waiting to be reviewed.

The best thing is ring the HR or the person who sent u the exemption form and ask him/her.

If your course and college is on CAI list, there is no worry.

    cheers.

I don't think Deloitte ever sent me a confirmation letter.

I sent my exemption form and transcripts into PwC too over a month ago and haven't received anything back yet.

As far as I know KPMG have an earlier deadline with the CAI for submitting exemption applications and therefore receive them earlier. I'm sure we will receive ours any day now :)

I rang CAI last week and they were currently processing PwC applications for exemptions. I was told to expect correspondence this week.

    Still haven't received exemption letter!!

I emailed the Chartered Acountants of Ireland today and they said there were delays due to a larger than anticipated volume of applications!
