    He's from Co. Kilkenny, was dating C.L. when she told him she was pregnant he left for the U.K. I was born in Oct 1965.

    This would be a very common name in the Traveller community,almost like John Smith in UK. Maybe you should make enquiries with a Traveller organisation like Exchange House. Please be aware this man could have children who could be reading this. Hope it works out for you.

    I asked my birth mother if he was from the travelling community when I met her in '86 as I thought the same, but she said no.
