Ge dvr video out

    Hi i have a ge digia digi - 4-160 4 channel dvr, the monitor works fine via the main video connection but I can't get the video out connection to work, iam trying to send the camera images to a tv using some cat 5 and baluns, is there an option to turn on this video out connection on this particular dvr

    Is the main video connection to the monitor VGA ?
    Some DVRs only allow one or the other.

    Yes main connection is vga, when I unplug this I still have no picture on video out

    There's probably a switch on the back to switch between vga and bnc out.
    I'm sure it's in the manual
