Hi , I am looking for help if possible - I am a complete newbie to the cycling scene and posting this for a friend who can't get the above part . The bike is approx a 2007 model.

Does anyone know where he would get one of these - his usual bike shop has had no joy and he's being trying for two weeks?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

    Thanks - Rosski

Hi ROSSKI, i reckon this might be what your after:
    http://www.totalcycling.com/a-z/headsets/HSS_TIME_VX.html
drop them an email to make sure because the older Time frames used the campagnolo style integrated headset. This newer type is not really a sealed bearing at all, the "balls" are sealed in a rubber rind and you might just be able to service the existing one.
    Ciao,

Why Time? I got the headset bearing replaced on a Time Elite recently and they put an FSA one in, worked a treat.

Thanks again for the reply - I know very little about bikes but hear us my understanding if it

As far as I know ( I'm confirming this tomorrow when I see him) he needs the whole headset - he crashed the bike , frame and all was badly damaged but he has that fixed now and he also damaged the headset bearing, seal etc so he needs a complete one as far as I know.

The shop he left it into lost one of the parts and he can't get or guide him where to get the headset.

Maybe another model would fit it i don't know ? Or maybe it's possible to get the time one

Thanks again for taking the time to reply
