Any shop in Dublin buying cameras/lenses?

    Is there a place in Dublin where I can sell my camera? It's a Pentax DSLR kit plus two good lenses. I don't want to go Adverts/Ebay route as I'm too busy to answer questions, meet up for demos etc, I'd rather just sell it in one place if it's possible at all. I'll appreciate any suggestions!

    forget it; any camera taking a camera in secondhand without a trade in would probably offer about half what you'd get on adverts.ie.

    maybe if you could find someone looking to buy a new camera and piggyback your trade in on that?

    I actually have a certain smaller camera in mind; might be worth checking out if they could take the gear towards it....

    I did exactly that with Conns - traded in old DSLR/lenses for a M4/3rds one.

    Mind you as has been said they didn't give me a whole lot for my old kit but the deal overall was ok so I went for it, rather than going the adverts.ie route and having all that hassle trying to sell it privately.

    Just to let potential sellers know that Conns Cameras sorted me out - they took my gear as a trade in for a new camera. I got probably 25% or so less than I would if selling it myself but it was fair enough and hassle free. Coupled with a free case/card deal with the new camera it worked out just fine! Thanks everyone.
