    Hey guys.

I recently purchased a car from a friend of my da's for a deal. Anyways nothing wrong with it apart from on the drivers side there are a few spots of a gum like substance on the paint work. its like a chewing gum consistency.

I can scrape it off with my finger nails and it comes of nice and easy but leaves a small patch where it was, the paint hasnt faded or anything. Just wondering the best type of product to use to get rid of the patches and the rest of the bits of the gummy stuff.

Its metallic black BMW, if you knew any good products to bring up the color a bit lash em up too.

    Thanks guys

If you google how to remove road tar and similar from paint that should also be able to remove what's on your car.
There's a lot of various products so plenty to choose from.

He must have really loved that car ;)

You might want to wear gloves when you're scraping it off, but at least it cumz off.

I think that's more for scratches tbh. Some polish will certainly help, with colour restorer ideally. Then wax....but make sure you wash it first :D

My motto is anything that babywipes don't shift stays.

Has to be J&J though, only the best for my cars.

Its probably gum, from being parked under a tree.
