Car insurance company from policy

    Hi

    I was involved in a car accident but didn't get all the details needed all i'm missing is the insurance company I have the reg and policy number is there a way to find out this information as I can't make a claim without it.

    My insurance company can't help I will be going to the guards tomorrow but even if they force the company to produce it will take days.

    The policy begins with the letters APC followed by 7 numbers.

    I have called the company the driver works for but they won't return my calls.

    Ring up a broker and you might get lucky. AA perhaps can help? But it's not exactly their job, so good luck.

    I'm an insurance broker, but never heard of a policy beginning with APC. Probably because it is a commercial policy though.

    The "C" probably stands for "commercial", maybe the "A" stands for Allianz, Axa?

    Otherwise the drivers company will have to disclose this info.
