    You arent the only one doing that .. I am setting off at about 7 or so .. I am going to get a good brekkie in the hotel beforehand. PM sent with my number on so give me a buzz if you want to meet up....:)

    Just got a new 6sp 24-14T freewheel and chain so I have the granny gears now for the hill at Maam Cross and Letterfrack !

    I had a great day out on Saturday ! Rode the bike about 17miles to get there 75 during the spin and 17 back home .. all on all about 110 miles clocked... approx 250 brave souls started.

    Met with my brother-in-law who was touring Connemara with a load of camping gear.. He spent 3 nights out in the wilds ... I was stopped up for about half an hour... a shot of Hennessey brandy and up the road !

    The wind from Leenaun to Maam then Maam Cross to Oughterard was totally unrelenting... good job I had the new granny gears on ;)

    It was one of the hardest and most enjoyable spins I was on in a long time
