Installing FDS on iMac

I am trying to install FDS on an iMac but am not getting very far, can anybody help me with this!

You can get the Mac version of FDS here but I did a quick search and apparently pyrosim isn't compatible with the Mac OS.

Never used any other GUI but this one seems to be Mac compatible

I have downloaded that but I cant get it to do anything when I click on the file.

Sorry, I have downloaded the mac version of FDS not the blenderFDS. I cant get the normal one to run.

From what I remember from college, FDS is just the background code and equations so you need BlenderFDS or Pyrosim to actually use the program

I have half an hour free now so Ill download it and see how I get on

Tried it last night and if you follow the guide in the link above it works. Seems a bit different to Pyrosim though so not sure how useful it'll be to you as I'd imagine most companies would use Pyrosim
