Going to America

Hey all, off on my holidays soon to Florida for a couple of weeks. Just wondering if it would be worth looking to pick up a watch while there. Been considering getting a 'good' watch for a while now, something like an Omega Seamaster or similar. Just wondering if the US would be a good opportunity to get a deal? What would the second hand market be like there, etc?

Are you going through LHR? Good prices to be had in there for new.

Unless you're loaded I'd have a good idea of what you're after before you leave. Then just pick it up over there.

Try to support the Irish! Seriously.

It`s not just the watch you buy but if you get it from a well established business you get quality after-service too if need be.

Ha, appreciate the sentiment but it's not cheese I'm buying.

Yeah, would be flying from the UK. LHR would be a good option alright if I was looking to buy new but can't really justify that. Buying second hand and I at least avoid seeing it drop 30% in value the minute I walk out the door.
