Refund on cancelled insurance?

Cancelled my motor insurance policy with aa. Sent back documents and disks. Got a confirmation text on the 30th July that they had received the documents. And since then nothing. How long should it take for a refund?

Once they have received confirmation of the return amount from the insurer they are obliged to issue the credit immediately. So I would expect you should have received it by now.

If you are payig by DD you may not be entitled to a refund
