was driving from city centre to north dublin late last night after work, and the amount of cars with no fog lights of was unreal.

Thats not the worst of it, seen one car and the person was driving with only the parking lights on with no front fog lights, the road had lights on it but still, wtf.
Another car i seen/i got blinded in thick fog near swords had there full beam on and were basically stopped cause of it, flashed them loads of times but no result

Wish i had a dash cam in the car last night, its was shocking.

This country and driving just doesnt work for some people, fog, snow/ice, rain, people just have not got a clue:mad:

Y; it was MAD... Thou I admit its been silk g since I used them I had to fiddle a bit to find the right buttons... Thank god for the " signal lights" on the dash as the actual controls gave no idea as to what was what!!

I was out walking the dog on Portmarnock beach when it just rolled in ; you could barely see ten feet in front of you ; walked back for over and it stayed & got really thick until you could barely see 3 feet ahead...& then everyone got into their cars & drove at 60kph home... Mad

Typical. When it's foggy, no one uses them. When the sun is splitting the trees, loads of morons driving around with them as as they look 'cool'.....

not every car by any means has front fog lights.... many of them that do have blown bulbs from over-use.

same this morning on the N2.
we also had a few cars who overtook about a row of 5 cars at a time, having no idea what was coming to meet them

Fog couldn't have been too bad OP is you managed to see all these cars without crashing into them.

Oh-oh, somebody used the F word

OP, foglight threads are one of those rare forbidden topics on motors as they have been discussed Ad nauseam - it's impossible to add any value to the forum by discussing them again
