Samsung query

Hi Guys, quick query re samsungs. Have a Galaxy Ace on O2 switching to an SIII on three. Need to switch from a sim to a micro sim. will Kies do this easy enough for me?

Nope. That's nothing to do with Kies. As far as I know all the simstores are operating settings and contacts.

O2 will transfer your sim settings to a micro sim which you pop into your S3.

All of your contacts should be synchronising already with your Gmail account so when you log on to the new phone your contacts will drop down.

Balls, thought Kies did that - don't want to cut my sim as i'll make a hames of it. I can't see o2 swapping my sim and contacts since my current phone doesn't take micro sim and i'm switching away from them so dunno what to do now. Don't want to have to wait to get to a three store to ask them to do it but i will as a last resort

Ta Cpt Morgan - i'm ok with the aquiring a sim and getting three to change my number over to it but it's the how do i transfer the contacts that has me?

Sync them to your google account.
Change sim, sync back.
Simples.
