    Ok, So I have decided I really do not need an airsoft pistol YET. So I kinda wanna save for a little "project" I wanna collect for. So I watched Strike Back Project Dawn on Sky 1 the other day and I was inspired by the weapon of choice for the mission. It was an AK Tactical with..... Here lemme show you
    http://sky1.sky.com/strike-back/strike-back-project-dawn-episode-7-gallery

    What stock gun should I buy for this? I really would like to keep it stock internals so no ****ty guns here. I want the base gun to be fitting and good enough for me to slap on an Aimpoint an AFG and a sling and rock that show.:cool:
    So any advice? So I am looking to get an AK that looks exactly like that. If there are no options readily availble I could get a gun tech to build me one? How much would that take? Any advice Aprreciated lads. Thanks

    I was the exact same as yourself, fell in love with it when watching Strike Back, so, I bought one.

    I imported it a while ago but my advice would be to go to hobbyairsoft http://www.hobbyairsoft.ie/ and ask them to import one for you on their next shipment. They're the official supplier for G&P products in Ireland so they'll source it easy enough and keep the price reasonable.

    If you were thinking of spending money on a tech to build one then I'd defo recommend a few upgrades, it'd still work out cheaper for you to buy it, then upgrade it, rather than having it built from scratch.

    Here's a list of upgrades I had done on mine and a pic for good measure:)
    Systema 6.04 tbb for AK(455mm)
    Systema Energy Cylinder set
    G&P Polyacetal High Pressure Piston
    Madbull Blue Hop Up Bucking
    Extreme-Fire AB MOSFET
    I also had the stock replaced with the Vltor type stock
    What upgrades you'd like is up to you, if any that is

    Hope that gives you some ideas of what you want:D

    Ah sorry to say this but that isn't an AK. Rather its a VZ-58, they look similar but are quite different in their inner workings. http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Strike_Back_-_Season_2#SA_Vz.58_Tactical
    That link has more photos.

    @ Jayod30 . Awesome. I want it! Here's another Q - How much did that cost you to import the gun via a retialer and get the upgrades. Although I have a high price limit, it's still there. I might have to ask you to answer more questions bout this later

    @Hande Hoche :o Thanks for that. I love learning about guns. Seriously.:D

    Well its as similar as I'm going to get, so for me she's the gun from Strike Back and that's the way she'll stay:cool: Now, are you finished trying to ruin my day?:P

    I imported it myself, not through a retailer and it worked out at about €250, but that was when the euro was strong against the dollar. Now with customs being a bit more cranky than normal and our weak currency I'd go with the retailer route.
    With the red dot, angle foregrip and Vltor stock along with the upgrades listed above added to her it was another €300-€350 give or take added to her. But when it comes to guns I love I'm a no expense spared type of guy:D

    "another €300-€350 give or take added"
    Scared the bejaysus outta me. This is gonna be my third AEG after two completely stock M4s.

    I think My budget is around the €350-€400 mark including everything.
    So I'll ask about the gun itself. What do you think of the stock gun iteself?
    I'm thinking of the G&G RK104 Evo. As Seen here http://www.mwairsoft.net/rifles/556-gg-ak104-evo-full-metal-ebb-special-offer.html

    Or the SRC one? http://sgairsoft.biz/siteapps/25121/htdocs/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=143&category_id=27&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=54

    What do you think?

    What do you think?

    Both look the biz, the SRC one being a closer look model to my own but I think the G&G model would be better build quality, internally and externally, just going on past experience myself.

    As for my own, build quality;
    Externally G&P prob build the best guns on the market, extremely well put together, no rattles or wobbles, a great looking very sturdy gun all round.

    Internal quality;
    People have differing opinions here but I find the internals quite sound on the G&P guns. None of my G&P M4's have given me hassle and they've takin some hefty abuse. My AK went straight from the box to a friend to upgrade as that was my plan from the beginning.

    Thanks Jayod for all your help :) I think the G&G is the way to go myself as it looks slightly better to the eye. I'll have to wait a while before getting anything tho. Any further opinions on Tactical AKs also welcome :D

    If you wanted you could just by the handguard and add the stock yourself to a standard ak http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/cyma-x47-aluminum-handguard-for-ak-series-c-04.html
