noise level on tacx satori

    hi folks,hope to buy a tacx satori but im wondering about noise level of same.plan to use it in downstairs sitting room but worried it may wake kids/p*** off mrs??anyone got experience of this??thanks

    No idea, I've the music on full blast with the tacx so can't hear the turbo at all ;) A mop and bucket for the sweat afters is a good idea if you don't want to fall out with the other half. Also maybe a few scented candles to combat the sweaty stench. Thinking about it, maybe the living room's not ideal. Shed or garage?

    Sitting room is definitely not the best place for a trainer.

    At low speeds the noise level is "OK" ... when doing intervals, it sounds like a jet aeroplane that wants to take off!

    The black stripe up the wall can be a bit of an issue too!

    Bad weather = enthusiastic with the cleaner / lube, weather gets worse = turbo time "box set" sessions in from of the TV
