Hi just wondering if anyone has any experience of this appliance breaking?
My daughters' bottom appliance has broke in her mouth again,

    First time it was repaired,
    Second time replaced,
    Now its broken again?
She is still wearing it as it just sits in her mouth in its correct position,

    hi there

usualy the twin block is quite robust and will break only if dropped or stepped on.

but the important thing is that she is wearing it, so well done on that. I would inform the orthodontist treating her and ask for specific advice but in general if it fits and is comfortable then keep on wearing it even if broken.

    Thanks for the reply,
Luckily I stayed local, so have already been for an appointment with a very patient orthodontist.

We are going to leave it as it is,
The results are great so far, and its secure, my daughter cant even tell its broken when its in place.

Plus I wouldnt hazard a guess how long the next one would last with her;)
Its showing great results so dont want to drag out this part of her treatment needlessly,
Lets hope she goes a bit easier on her fixed braces when she gets them!
