    I'm planning on going to Dublin on Thursday from Banteer station in Cork County by train. I reserved a seat and have my booking printed off. The only issue is that the ticket office is always closed in Banteer, and that there are no machines there to print off tickets. Normally I'd just get off in Mallow and collect the tickets seeing as though you have to switch trains. But this train doesn't stop for long enough there to do that. In fact, the train has no switches at all. What should I do? I want to go to Banteer, and not Mallow; but I don't want to get fined for having no ticket?

    Perhaps you should ring the station and enquire- they surely know.

    You could ring the station tomorrow at 029 56004 and ask them what to do; it's manned between 7AM and 4PM.

    Take your booking that you have printed off with you and you will be ok.
