Comfortable Undies

I'm looking for comfortable, good-quality knickers (not Pennys/Dunnes) that cover all/most of the bum, ie. don't give wedgies but don't ride high. They should be available in shops in Cork or Limerick but I'd also be willing to buy online.

    M&S, all the way

I like the boyshorts that come in a pack of 3 in Penneys - the main reason I wear them is no VPL under my work clothes (they are good quality for Penney's - normally I have to buy crazy big sizes in there and cut off the tag)

Marks is always good for decent knicks as well or try TK Maxx.

The best quality and most comfortable pairs of underwear I own are from Penneys. I get the ones that are sold individually. Some of them aren't great but if you pick them up you'll see that some of them are made of nice thick material.

M&S are good too but again the individual ones. The shorts in the packs are terrible.

Comfortable knickers are like golddust! I like the full briefs in Topshop, find them most comfortable and they come in very cute designs. Also, the cotton ones from Dunnes are good quality and they come in individual sizes i.e. a, b, c as opposed to w-x, y-z which is good for a nice fit. If you can get there at all, the briefs from the Calvin Klein underwear shop in Kildare Village are most comfortable! You could try Brand Alley also for discounted branded underwear.

+1 for Calvin Klein! Got 5 pairs for £25 in the Banbridge outlet. Very comfortable and a good selection of styles. Topshop ones are nice as well, there's usually a deal on them too for multiples.

Another +1 for M&S, very comfortable. Also have tried the TopShop ones too, not bad atall!

I spent a fortune on some sloggi a while ago. I actually cannot wear them. The elastic is like a feckin tourniquet round your thighs.

M&S seem to be the best. I also have some nice patagonia briefs for active wear which are brilliant. Must try calvin klein.

Ya it's a nightmare getting well fitting knickers. Most comfortable underwear I own is from Forever 21, and they look really cool too. I bought short styles and brief styles and I'd barely know I am wearing them.

I love Victorias secret pink. I got a load of different knickers, thongs and the boxer style in the States, 5 pairs for $25. I think you can buy then online. They do cotton ones all in lovely colours and last for ages. I highly recommend them!

I found sloggis great especially under trousers

I got lovely cotton no VPL one's in M&S a few weeks ago. 3 pairs for 13.50. Great for work and they're really comfy and wash well. I had been wearing lycra no VPL ones from Dunnes but found them very warm and uncomfortable in the summer.

I wear Sloggi and Playtex as my "everyday" underwear for under my work clothes.

Gap are my personal preference for cotton - the teeny bikini style is great.

I don't think I've ever found uncomfortable underwear? Apart from thongs...never got the interest with them. No vpl but they feel shit.

I just get all my knickers in Penneys...the individually sold ones! They are pretty good quality and look nice. And cost feck all. I've had underwear from Penneys/Dunnes/M&S/CK etc and they've all felt the same tbh. Alway end up going back to Penneys.
