Just had a good email moaning session with Irish Ferries about their promotions, so saw the link and thought great I'll give it a try. Took me a while to work out its just a crap as Irish Ferries offers. The bit to take note of is
Valid for travel from 1 Sept 2012 to 5 January 2013.

Book early (month in advance) and you get a good deal anyway, you can also keep costs down by travelling mid week, but thanks for sharing.

I travel with Irish Ferries as on the route I use they annoy me slightly less than Stena, prices are identical right down to the last euro provided you don't get confused by the way they try and make the prices look different.

I'm suprised that this cosy wasn't investigated years ago.

Irish ferries have always worked out cheaper for me. Added to that they do a frequent travellers offer where if you book 3 return/6 single sailings within a year, you get 20% of the total spend discounted off your 7th single or 4th return journey.

It used to be cheaper to book through the UK, in sterling, but now it seems cheaper to book in EURO. My last sailing I wasn't sure of the return date so didn't add the return route for 170eur, it ended up costing me 173GBP even though the same sailing was still showing up as 170eur as part of a return sail, plus I had to pay the card fee twice, damn :o
