Hi guys, I'm just wondering if it makes any difference whether repeat first year students go back on the 10th september. I'm on a j1 and I'm thinking about changing my flights and come back on september 15th. Anyone know if its ok to miss the first few days?

    Thanks!

I missed the first 3 days and it was grand. Only thing that could be effected are tutorials and seminars depending on your subjects. You can miss two per module before your grade is effected.

That depends on the lecturer. You get a bit of time to decide on electives, so if you haven't signed up for the class until the second week or whatever most wont mind. I know someone who missed 2 classes because they didn't sign up for the class until the second week and they lost attendance marks.

No one is going to give out to you over it, so it's really your own decision & responsibility.
