Anyone know if Riozzis take away in Eyre Street has closed. Went down last Friday to get a takeway and it was closed. Passed it a few times since and still closed with no notice to say if they are on holidays or closed for good. I think its the oldest chipper in the town. Anyone know if Riozzis take away in Eyre Street has closed. Went down last Friday to get a takeway and it was closed. Passed it a few times since and still closed with no notice to say if they are on holidays or closed for good. I think its the oldest chipper in the town. I remember the owner Maurice when he worked in Fusciardis which is closed for many years back in the 60s.

just a guess, but I reckon holidays. Its the time of year when old potatoes are poor, new potatoes are expensive and Italian weather is beautiful.
