Carlow IT Open During Summer Months?

I previously attended Carlow IT but I'll be starting in a new college this September. I was asked to have a couple of forms completed by Carlow IT for fees and such.

I've tried contacting Carlow via their e-mail addresses and over the phone for the last couple of weeks but have received no response. Their phone line cuts directly to an answering machine at the moment, at least any time I've called them. I completely understand though, I figure that they're snowed under, like all colleges at this time of year.

I think my safest bet now would be to travel down to the college myself in order to get these forms done, I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there are any approachable staff available at the moment to do this for me. By approachable, I mean, is the college locked up at the moment and all of the admin being done behind closed doors? Or could I walk in a speak to someone about this? I don't want to travel all the way down only to be left standing outside a locked campus!

Is anyone who's been in contact with Carlow IT for similar reasons or who knows this able to help me out?

well yesterday was a bank holiday

im pretty sure there should be some staff around during the summer months.. wouldnt be sure though, but you'd expect them to still have lots of work that needs doing preparing for the new year

I was in last month giving in forms for my repeat exams, I'd be pretty shocked if you couldn't walk in on a normal weekday and talk to someone at reception.. but I won't reimburse your bus fare if you travel down and it's closed :)

The college is open and all the admin staff are still on site - it's only the students and lecturers who aren't here.

Reception is open 9-5pm and the phones are manned during that time too. OP what number are you calling that's going straight to voicemail? Main reception number is 059 91 75000.

July and August are the busiest times of the year for the admin staff, particularly in Admissions who I'm guessing you'll need to contact. I would call reception tomorrow and clearly state what you need. Then once you have the name and number of who is dealing with that area you can follow up with them directly.

I was actually ringing them yesterday and getting straight through to voicemail before I realised it was a bank holiday. I tried calling this morning and got straight through to a lovely chirpy lady in reception! The college is open from 9-5 over the Summer, just not on bank holidays! *facepalm*

I didn't think to get a name/number for someone who deals specifically with the forms I need. I'll be heading down tomorrow, hopefully I don't put them out too much, I can only imagine how busy they are right now!
