Hi, i have gatorskins on the bike, they are great in crap weather. But are heavy and speed goes down abit and i was thinking of getting another set of tyres for when the weather is good, but still want something that's kinda tough and not get cut by stones et etc

Roads around here are kinda rough like most roads in the country, and don't want something too soft.

any recommendations? What are ye using and how do you find them and have they let you down at all.

    Regards,

Continental GP4000 S. Good balance between rolling weight, feel and grip.

I'm using Schwalbe Lugano punctured protected Tyres. Can't fault them so far but have done less than 250 miles on them.

Just replaced some Michelin Krylions after 5100km with another set - three punctures in that time two in the last 50km, hence the change:)

    +1

I used Krylions for the whole of last winter without a puncture ... great tyres! Currently have Grand Prixs (not 4000 or 4000s) in 24c on the training bike and I really like them too!
