Will the Quarter Final hammerings be a concern for the GAA?

Have to admit watching the way Mayo and Cork obliterated their opposition this weekend was a very disappointing thing to see in Quarter Finals. I know we've seen big results before but neither seemed the result of an off-day or a spectacular performance, just simply Cork and Mayo in training mode destroying sides who weren't at that level, both games were over very early into the 2nd half which made for a very strange atmosphere in Croke Park.

I remember something similar was common place in Hurling quarters when teams like Antrim used to get there on the grounds of the provincial system which they took action against to prevent.
It'd be sad to see an elite club system brought into football but surely scenes like in those two games must be damaging for showpiece games?

Cork proved their class today but last year they lost their qf!!
    The dubs scraped through.
    Donegal won by a point.
Mayo won well against a team who lost the 2010 final.

Net years qf's cold be equally close or one sided - that's sport I reckon.

Not even an issue. You'll see plenty of semis and finals in future with just as big a beating. It's sport, you win or you lose and sometimes you lose big.

Will the GAA be worried that the 4 provincial Champions are through to the semi finals why genuine challenges are given while all teams get multiple chances at winning? Ah no, I think they are delighted.

Their biggest worries will be attendances, but they are happy to bury their heads in the sand and blame the Euros and Olympics as well as blaming the opening draw.
